Reclaim Your

Second Act.

Stop shrinking. Start emerging.

It’s 3 AM.

You’re wide awake, your mind is racing, and the same questions keep echoing in the dark:

What do I do now? How will I get through this? Is it too late for me?

You’ve spent decades being the caretaker, the peacekeeper, and the ultimate manager of everyone else's emotions.

You’ve put your own needs on the back burner for so long that you’re waking up wondering, "Who am I now?" You are starting to deeply reevaluate your relationships, wondering if they can adjust to how you feel now. You are wondering if you want to make a complete career shift, but fear that it isn't "worth it" at your age.

Add to that the sudden, uncharacteristic waves of perimenopausal rage, the anxiety spikes, and the physical shifts that your doctors dismissively tell you are "just a normal part of aging."

Society tells us that once we hit this age, we are supposed to quietly fade into a fog of invisibility.

SOCIETY CALLS THIS A MIDLIFE CRISIS.

I call it your
Midlife Emergence.

This isn't about "anti-aging" or trying to claw back who you were at 25. This is about stepping into the most powerful, badass version of yourself. It’s about understanding the biological and hormonal shifts of perimenopause not as a defect, but as a gateway to your own agency.

Because we don't have to spend the next 30, 40, or 50 years just waiting around or putting up with the same things we’ve endured for our entire adult lives.

It is time to finally realize you can choose to stop worrying about everyone else's "shoulds" and expectations.

How We Work Together

Whether we are working together in Clinical Therapy (for Virginia or Georgia residents) or through Coaching (Globally), we always start with where you are right now.

I don't force you into a rigid 12-step program. Everyone is different, and I adapt to you—I do not expect you to adapt to me. We typically start with weekly 45-50 minute sessions to define what freedom looks like for you.

The "Why" and the "How"

Therapy helps us explore the why behind your patterns. Coaching gives us the how to build a strategy moving forward. I work in the overlap.

Nervous System Focus

Our bodies hold onto things that have happened to us, not from a logical perspective, but a physiological one. We look at how trauma and hormones are speaking to your nervous system, and we build structural tools to help you feel safe in your actual, daily life.

Unapologetic Freedom

We shed the "good girl" conditioning. We stop managing everyone else’s emotions and start managing your own agency. We give you a safe space to tell your truth out loud.

You aren't broken. You don't need to be fixed.

You just need an advocate to help you chart the map for this next, incredible chapter.

Policies

  • In general, the law protects the confidentiality of all communications between a psychotherapist and a client. No information is disclosed without prior written consent from the client. This is done by signing a HIPPA form. However, there are some exceptions required by law to this rule. I am required by law to report to the authorities the following circumstances:

    1. If I suspect that an individual may be involved in child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse.

    2. If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person.

    3. If a client intends to harm himself or herself. The therapist will make every effort to work with the individual to ensure their safety. However, if an individual does not cooperate, additional measures may need to be taken.

  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before our session you will be charged the full fee for that session.

The therapist is not obligated to make up time due to a client’s lateness. More than 15 minute lateness constitutes a late cancellation and the therapist is not obligated to conduct the session.

  • If I am severely ill or have a life-or-death event, I will inform you that I will be absent.

I inform patients of my vacation or conference schedule at least a week in advance.

If I am unable to give a week’s notice of events which will keep me out of the office I will give 48 hours.

    • Do I have out-of-network mental/behavioral health benefits?

    • Do I have an out-of-network deductible? If so, how much, and has it been met yet by other medical expenses?

    • What amount is covered per psychotherapy session?

Please contact me to inquire about your insurance needs before our first session.
